Tweed Coast Christian Education Association

Since 2008 when Special Religious Education has been taught in Banora Point, Kingscliff, and Tweed River High Schools, over eight thousand students have had the opportunity to hear, learn, and respond to the Gospel.  These children include some who are connected to our churches, but the vast majority are not.  Through Biblical and creative teaching, young people are introduced to Jesus.  Serious and deep questions are asked and answered.  Bibles are requested and lives are changed.  A new generation is reached by the Good News of the Gospel!

This is something that no single church can do on their own.  High School SRE is the biggest work of mission on the Tweed Coast, and the main way churches partner together to achieve something bigger than any one of us.  

Our teachers need people to stand with them and pray to the Lord of the harvest.  The vision of the Association is to see all churches actively partnering together through prayer and giving, so the current work is sustainable and can expand so years nine and ten are able to continue their learning.  

The Association uses Think Faith as its curriculum (published by Christian Education Publications and used in schools state-wide).

Enabling churches to present the message of love, hope, and purpose found in Jesus to students in our local state high schools.
